Please bear in mind that while there is a lot of history that actually happened in the game in both stories, there is also an element of fiction... Hence fan fiction. If you need clarification on what is actually real and what is made up... Please ask!

Below are some notes on the game initially and then as I write, if there is something new, I'll put in a pre-chapter author's note.
Characters will be referred to as either Kitsune (female) or Tengu (male) when no name has been provided
Gameplay aspects and how they are represented in this story:
- Divine Right Beads: These are a bracelet in the story instead of floating around the character
- Shikigami: Also are represented by beads. They are tapped or flicked by the character to summon the shikigami represented by the character
- Astrolabes and Adornments: These are dependent on the character. Summonable for combat instead of constantly out.
- Miko: Are human servants to the main characters. May have individual names… Haven't decided on that yet
- Pets and Mounts: Same as you would expect for normal pets and mounts.
- Guilds: Each guild will have its own building located on the outskirts of CS City
- Baby: Only will be mentioned if there is a necessity within the story
- PMs: Are phone calls or messages on mobiles to the characters
- Gifts: Are sent via mobiles to characters
- CP: Is referred to as aura. The stronger the aura, the more overwhelming it is to break through to attack the player
- Horcrux: Are found as shells and create shell bracelets.
Babies! How they come into the story world:
As Kitsune and Tengu aren't human nor really the same species, I decided to change how they gain a baby. To make it clear, they can so the same relationship-type stuff (as in sex… yes I said it) as humans but just not with the same possible end result. Intimacy between a Kitsune and Tengu is purely for enjoyment between the two unless an agreement is made. I'll outline it below:
- During an act of intimacy, the couple can make an appeal for a baby. The stronger the connection between the two the greater the likelihood.
- The kitsune will rest her head on her spouse's chest (this enables same sex female couples to be able to have babies as well. If there is ever a need for a same sex male couple I'll address it then) seeking to accept part of her energy to be transformed into a crystal orb.
- When the orb is created, the kitsune is drained and often requires a long rest (similar to how human women feel after giving birth)
- The orb is nurtured and treated like a baby until the baby "hatches" from the orb.
- Single orbs are most common. Twin orbs are extremely rare. Any more than 2 never happen.
Marriage and Divorce
- Divorce is simply the removal of the rings and return of the ring to the spouse.
- Weddings are a ceremony but not necessary for marriage
- Marriage between two kitsune/tengu requires acceptance from both parties.
- The rings are classed as divine and so will refuse to be forced onto the finger of another kitsune/tengu if they haven't accepted to marry the ringbearer
- Once both have accepted and rings are worn, the marriage is complete
Kitsune and Tengu

- Kitsune always have their 9 tails out
- There are 2 types of kitsune: human-predominant and fox-predominant
- Human-predominant kitsune have a more acute sense of touch and taste
- Fox-predominant kitsune have a more acute sense of hearing, sight, and smell
- Tengu always have their wings out
- There are 2 types of tengu defined by the colour array of their wings
- Tengu with the right-white left-black wings are common. They have pure strength and dominate a kitsune partner by being protective. Protector-temperament
- Tengu with the left-white right-black wings are rarer. They complement a kitsune partner by working alongside, often relying on their partner. Collaborative-temperament~
Symbiotic Relationship Between Kitsune and Tengu
This is in relation to the connection and awareness married pairs have to their spouse coming online. I decided to extend that to be a bit more so it can cause a bit of drama
- Pair will be aware of whether their spouse is awake or asleep. A general feeling of added strength and energy.
- Prolonged physical distance causes negative effects on the pair. Kitsune become deeply depressed and Tengu begin to lose grip on sanity
- Instincts towards their spouse are unlocked such as needing physical connection. Instincts will push and urge certain behaviours.
- Awareness of strong emotions between pairs is present and can only be felt if both are awake.

This story has been discontinued due to many changes in the game as also a lot of characters no longer playing. League now supersedes this story and is in a slightly different timeline.
