Collectables Showcase

I’ve collected little collectables every now and then. I have a lot of FNAF collectables (S1, Sis Loc, Sis Loc Pint Size), some Mermicornos, Unicornos, and My Little Pony figurines. Open the links to unboxing videos from some of my favourite youtubers. I matched the video with the set or sets I have.

I found these guys recently and I might collect more of them.

This set is called Lost Kitties.

I found this in Kmart while I was shopping for some stationary supplies. I got 4 individual boxes and the large 5 kitty box.

They are so cute and each has its own attitude. I so want to collect all of them. I can't decide whether I like the one hiding in the paper bag or the one curled up.

This set is called Lock Heads.

Found these in Coles while I was doing my grocery shopping. I only got 4 packs.

Each one has a big lock and a small lock. The large lock can work as a lock. The small ones head opens and can hold items. But they can't be used as a lock. My favourite is the green rabbit in both large and small version.

Craft Update... Or not...

So I should be posting my craft or writing from the last two months but.... well... not happening.  managed to get very easily distracted with an online game and these months have just flown by. Just like when I was distracted by the new Diablo 3 game, I was so easily distracted and immersed in Final Fantasy: A New Empire.

Aside from the social aspect, it's hard to say exactly what was addicting about it. It was fun up until the realm merge... Now not so much. I duck on and check in every so often and hang around if people are online but otherwise I tend to go back to reading.

Speaking of reading! I got into my Wheel of Time series again by Robert Jordon. I loved that series and was sad that he passed away before completing the final 3 books but Brandon Sanderson did a good job writing the last three. Particularly the last scenes between Rand and the Dark One.

I've also got into Yugioh fan-fiction again. Been looking at my old favourite stories and re-reading them again. I'm hoping to finish the arc's I've started writing but you know me, it might be another year before I get to it.

I know it's not much of an update but hey, I didn't want to go completely AWOL on everyone without some sort of contact. Will post again... Hopefully sooner but if not in 2 months time.

First doll of the three I have planned. Her name is Lys: Mascot of Garden of the Black Roses and Writing

Lys' desk. I'm planning to make 3 rooms for the two dolls I'm keeping. A bedroom each for Lys and Raine as well as a shop for their stuff.

I know it's a brief update this time but hopefullt I'll have a bit more to show you in August.

Thoughts on Writing

Last month was stagnant with craft projects so I'm going to do the update every 2 months rather than monthly.

I've been thinking about my writing and how to increase or improve the amount I actually do write to get back into swing of it.

I've decided that the Iron Wolves series is going to be free so it can be found on Inkitt. My stand alone stories from the past NaNoWriMo are going to get an overhaul and I'll be putting those on sale on Lulu. But I don't think that will be happening any time soon.

I've also started looking at Twitch, Youtube and other media platforms to expand my presence. I haven't decided how but I do know that I want to incorporate education, writing, crafting, and gaming into the channel. It still requires a bit more research and experimentation but I'll see.

March Craft Update

I like this layout, it works pretty well. Anyway, here's this month's update.

Completed Pieces
This month had me playing with plants. I've had Fang for a while so I expanded my garden apartment to add herbs, mushrooms, and strawberries.

  









Aside from the plants, this month was sparse in the way of craft things. Been working on a lot of large projects.

 A small cross stitch fan from a kit I got off my sister. There's a series of these so I have the bamboo one in my to do list.

Random drawing. I haven't drawn or painted in a while so I decided to draw something. Not entirely happy with it but it's ok.

 Random toilet roll holder. Was playing with different crochet repeating patterns and made this. Needed one anyway so it was worth the test.

Lastly, gloves made with Red Heart "Lisa" yarn. I have a scarf and a pair of long socks to do before I finish this set and move on to the next set.

The lemon commission is still being made in a batch for sale in my Etsy shop once. I've ordered some custom tags and other business themed items to make it more "official" like. Hopefully I get this up and running soon.

- Personal
I've started a Google Sheet with information on what I have in progress so I can check them off as I go. I've got 10 of each listed for Shop, Personal, and Commission.

In terms of commission items, I have a few hairclips my sister has asked me to make for her on the list but I haven't commenced anything as yet.

Writing In Progress
Writing has stagnated. Really not much to add here at the moment. Hopefully I'll get back into this soon.

Craft Update

Its the end of the month and that time again to update everyone on the pieces that have been done as well as what I am up. I've set the layout a little differently so it can give you an overall idea of what I'm doing

Completed Pieces
This month has started me experimenting on pieces and I have had some ideas that may appear in the next update.

The three photos above are from my decorating bug I got into after I got my Fuji Instax Camera. I haven't fully completed these yet but they look ok with the plain paper frames and cross stitch pieces among them.

 A little Molly Makes reindeer that was made during a night shift at work. Hand sewn with felt and embroidery thread.

Random stitch counters made during night shift. I like stitch counters for knitting and I often break the cheap plastic ones because I'm too rough with them. These were made simply with eye findings, lobster clasps, and beads.

 Commission made for a coworker of my sister. Cute pair of lemons with felt leaves. Made from acrylic yarn.

Designer: Amigurumi Food

 Commission made for my sister. She found a shrug pattern that had all the current eevee evolutions on it. This one is Eevee and made from crushed velour. Hand sewn as well.

Designer: Sew Desu Ne?

Commission made for my sister. With the leftover crushed velour, she asked me to make a Shiba Cube from the same designer. The face is felt applique that has been both ironed on for placement and then sewn on to secure in place

 I've been making more things for Japan for the end of the year. This is an owl beanie I found a pattern for. Crocheted with Red Heart Lisa yarn

Pieces Currently In Progress
- Shop
The lemon commission is also being made in a batch for sale in my Etsy shop once I have it up and running again. The designer of the pattern has noted on the pattern that it can be made and sold with a notation and link back to where it came from.

- Personal

I'm currently in the progress of making leg warmers for myself that are inspired by the Owl hat. I'm actually going to type this pattern up so I can put it onto Craftsy for others to use.

It's currently being made with Sirdar Snuggly Crofter DK yarn. It's very soft and nice to work with



- Commission
I haven't started any commission pieces but my sister has left material bundled up into bags for a few projects she would like. One of which is the Vaporeon version of the shrug. It will probably be the next one made.

Writing In Progress
My writing has been neglected lately but I do have some ideas for adding more chapters to the FCGS and Yugioh fanfictions as well as continue with the Iron Wolves story.

I'm going to fix up my Lulu storefront and rewrite IWA before continuing on. It's been too much time between writing IWA and IWB that my writing style has changed a lot.

Hopefully by the end of April, all three storefronts (Etsy, Craftsy, & Lulu) will be up and running as well as linked to here as well as their respective Facebook pages.

Creating Patterms

I've been looking at making my own patterns and selling them on Craftsy. At the moment I'm experimenting and attempting to create adjustable leg warmers.

I've been making things for my Japan trip at the end of the year and I feel comfortable enough to start making my own patterns. I'll probably make a few small items like yoga socks, leg warmers, and other items before I move on to bigger patterns.

I'll put photo progress on here each month with the updates and I'll also put a link to my patterns on Craftsy as well once I have them up.
