I've been thinking on making just a random blog for a while now just to get my thoughts out. Perhaps daily... I haven't really decided on what exactly this blog will contain but it'll probably be all over the place, just like my head and my life.
I've been kind of introspective lately when it comes to what I need versus what I want. Right now, I want my own place. Bought not rented. But as it stands, my bank balance prior to the April 2016 incident was in a good position to do that but now it isn't. I don't have much to even think on moving to another place. This year will really be a cut back for me in terms of buying things.
Tho in saying that, I'm not exactly low on things to keep me occupied. I have enough unfinished projects and craft supplies that it'll take me 6 life times to get through them all! Tho in saying that, if I didn't work full time I could easily work through all of it in the space of a few years.
Resolutions? I hate making New Years Resolutions... I always end up breaking them. I tend to go for goals more than anything else. So this years goals?
1) Build my bank account back up again
2) Make a significant dent in my UFO boxes (UFO is crafter for UnFinished Object) I currently have 2 waist high boxes and a small box that's like one you would put at the end of a bed.
3) Finish my Masters. I have this year to go with units and I want to finish without failing anything else. I'll graduate at the end of this year with all units done. What am I doing? Masters in Mental Health Nursing. It contributes towards my ultimate goal.
I've also got 4 craft projects that I need to finish regardless of anything else this year. 2 are blankets that are being made for 30th birthdays and 2 are cross stitch pieces that are photos that were converted that are Christmas presents this year. I doubt I'll finish both blankets but I'll at least finish one and the Xmas pieces can be easily knocked through in my November leave.
If you have any topics you want me to talk about or anything you want to take a look at... If I have it/feel comfortable showing it then I'll dedicate a post to it for you and give you credit for the idea in the beginning.
Until next time... Keep the imagination flowing!
